» Children's advocate and healthcare administrator Michael Aubin was named president of Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville. Aubin was founding administrator and COO at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital of Tampa. He replaces Larry Freeman, who retired.

» Jacksonville-based Winn-Dixie Stores named Laurence Appel senior vice president of retail operations. Appel was general counsel and senior vice president of human resources. He replaces Frank Eckstein, who retired. The company also named Anita Dahlstrom-Gutel senior vice president of human resources.

» Gainesville-based Xhale Innovations hired Craig T. Davenport as CEO.
